Amanda Gemmell - Sport Medicine Physiotherapy

Amanda is a Registered Pelvic Health and Orthopedic Physiotherapist who grew up in Essex County playing competitive sports. She earned her bachelor’s degree in biology at Faulkner University in Alabama in 2015 while playing Varsity Women’s Soccer on a soccer scholarship. After completing her undergraduate degree, Amanda moved back to Canada and earned her master’s Degree in physical therapy at Queen’s University in 2017. She continues to play soccer, loves riding horses, weight lifting, running, and training her amazing dog Meeko.

Amanda treats both pelvic health and orthopedic conditions. She has taken numerous postgraduate pelvic health courses and is currently a teaching assistant for an international pelvic health course called “The Female Athlete” with Antony Lo. Her mission is to find the root cause of your complaint, teach you everything she knows about your case, and ultimately teach you how to treat yourself. Amanda takes an evidence-based approach to her practice and will work with you to reach your goals.

Jason Chung - Sport Medicine Physiotherapy

Jason is a Sport Physiotherapist who originally grew up in the Greater Toronto Area and moved to Windsor-Essex a few years ago. Jason earned his master's degree in physical therapy at Queen's University in 2017 and recently completed a Sport and Exercise Medicine Master's at Western University. Jason is a certified acupuncturist through the McMaster Contemporary Medical Acupuncture Program, which he completed in 2017. He also has his diploma in sport physiotherapy. In his career, Jason has had the opportunity to work with a number of sports teams, including the Essex Ravens as part of the medical staff during their 2023 season. Jason currently serves as the sport physiotherapist and team trainer for the OHL Windsor Spitfires.
